General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to all services offered by Marjolein Loomans, certified psychologist, in the field of psychological counseling, support and coaching.

The offers are made exclusively online.

2. Type of offer

The psychological support offered serves personal development, reflection and support in stressful life situations.

This service does not replace medical, psychiatric or therapeutic psychotherapy and is not intended for people in acute mental crisis situations.

3. Scheduling an appointment

Appointments can be arranged via the website or by individual agreement.

Booking an appointment creates a binding reservation of the agreed time slot.

4. Fees and payment terms

Current prices are listed on the website or can be agreed upon individually.

Payment is made in advance via the offered payment methods or after invoicing.

According to § 19 UStG, no VAT is charged if the small business regulation applies.

5. Appointment cancellations

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start.

In case of later cancellations or no-shows, the full fee may be charged, as the appointment cannot be reassigned at short notice.

6. Confidentiality

All personal content of the collaboration will be treated confidentially.

However, communication via the internet can have security vulnerabilities. Therefore, complete confidentiality of electronic data transmission cannot be guaranteed.

7. Personal responsibility

The use of the services offered is at your own risk.

The client remains responsible for their own decisions, actions, and their own mental and physical health throughout the entire collaboration.

8. Liability

No liability is assumed for decisions or actions taken based on the advice or support offered.

Liability is limited to intent and gross negligence.

9. Data protection

Information on the processing of personal data can be found in the privacy policy of this website.

10. Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
